Dr. Jacob Roberts, DPT

Jacob graduated from Idaho State University in May of 2007 with a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and established Eagle Rock Physical Therapy in September of that year.  During Jacob’s education he found great success in treating people using manual therapy AND therapeutic exercises and founded his physical therapy clinic on the principles of manual therapy combined with therapeutic exercises.  He noticed a lack of manual therapy based physical therapy clinics in Eastern Idaho and was the first to operate a physical therapy clinic based on manual therapy solutions to heal people from their pain.  He quickly learned how this treatment works to help people with varying types of ailments from gastrointestinal pains, low back pain, or even headaches.  He has been able to help people with nerve pains and arm or leg numbness with these techniques, as other treatments have failed them.

Jacob is passionate about the physical therapy care for the patients at Eagle Rock Physical Therapy and he is constantly concerned about providing cutting edge physical therapy treatment.  He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Idaho Physical Therapy Association.  He is continually improving his physical therapy skills by attending education classes and constantly studies about the different symptoms that his patients present with at ERPT.  Some of the continuing education courses Jacob has taken are listed below:
